Each pillow begins as a series of four blocks, hand pieced and hand-sewn variations of the “patchwork of the crosses” quilt template.
From a collection of completed blocks, four that are in conversation with one another become a new composition that is appliquéd to a neutral background. The finished pillow cover measures nineteen inches square and looks beautiful as a stand-alone on a couch or chair or in combination with other pillows.

Hand Carved Wood Spoons
Maple, cherry, and applewood are transformed into a series of one of a kind spoons, each lovingly carved by my husband. Each spoon bears the playful mark of the maker, guided by the idiosyncrasies of the wood.
